Encuesta: El Concierto de Juanes en Ciudad de La Habana
El Grupo Veritas procedió a efectuar una encuesta con la que hemos pretendido conocer el criterio de los ciudadanos dentro de la Isla con relación al concierto proyectado, para realizarse el 20 de septiembre del actual, por el cantante Juanes en Ciudad de La Habana.
Para ese fin se elaboró el siguiente cuestionario:

El sondeo se realizó por el método cara a cara a residentes en los 15 municipios de Ciudad de La Habana y del municipio especial Isla de la Juventud. También se recogieron las opiniones de ciudadanos de las provincias de Pinar del Río, Provincia Habana, Matanzas y Las Tunas. La investigación se efectuó de forma aleatoria por voluntarios.
Para el análisis estadístico se consideró el total general de encuestados, así como tres grupos etarios: menores de 34 años, de 35 a 49 años y de 50 años y más. También se cuantificó la cantidad de participantes por sexo en el total general y dentro de sus respectivos grupos de edades.
Las boletas procesadas estadísticamente fueron 509 . Le correspondieron 275 al sexo femenino y 234 al masculino. Lo que representa el 54% y 46% respectivamente.
De los menores de 35 años encontramos 326 participantes, de los cuales 197 son femeninos y 129 masculinos. Con un 60% y 40%.
Los encuestados comprendidos entre 35 y 49 años son 119. De ellos 54 femeninos, el 45% y 65 masculinos, el 55%.
A su vez los de 50 años y más están representados por 64. Tenemos 24 femeninos, el 37.5 % y 40 masculinos, el 62.5 %.
Del Total General tenemos:
Están de acuerdo con la presentación del cantante Juanes en Cuba 419, el 82 %
No es una buena idea para 34, el 7 %
Les da igual a 32, el 6 %
No sabían que contestar 24, el 5 %
Les gustaría que el concierto se realice en la Plaza de la Revolución a 325, el 64 %
Prefieren el Estadio Latinoamericano 109, el 21 %
En el parque Lenin 10, el 2 %
No saben 65, el 13 %
Les parece bien que compartan el escenario artistas que viven en Cuba con otros del exilio a 397, el 78 %

Por un sondeo anterior, efectuado por el Grupo Veritas, sobre “Las aspiraciones de los Ciudadanos en Cuba” sabemos que a la pregunta ¿Con qué posibilidades cuenta para realizar sus aspiraciones? del grupo etario de15 a 34 años contestó un 51 % que “sólo tenía algunas posibilidades”. A su vez el 42 % de esa misma categoría contestó que “no cuenta con ninguna posibilidad” de realizar sus aspiraciones. Ambas respuestas suman un 93 % de los ciudadanos comprendidos entre esas edades, lo que pone de manifiesto la falta de expectativa, frustración y desesperanza en nuestra sociedad.
Por lo anterior, nos resultan comprensibles los datos obtenidos en esta investigación. Los ciudadanos en Cuba no poseen los recursos suficientes para satisfacer sus necesidades básicas. Los jóvenes no pueden asistir frecuentemente a las actividades culturales y recreativas. Las discotecas y otras instalaciones existentes están fuera de su alcance económico, generalmente el costo de la entrada incluye un consumo mínimo y la oferta es en pesos convertibles. Si un artista de la popularidad de Juanes les regala un concierto será recibido como el maná del cielo.
El Estado que mantiene, durante las 24 horas de los 365 días del año, un despiadado bombardeo ideológico sobre la población no tiene necesidad de utilizar para sus fines la actividad. Dejará que los jóvenes hagan la necesaria catarsis. El concierto les será una terapia colectiva, la música y las canciones les harán olvidar “quienes son y de que modo”.
Conclusiones:
El 82 % de los encuestados en general y el 94 % de los menores de 34 años consideran que es una buena idea la presentación de Juanes el 20 de Septiembre del 2009.
El 64 % de la población encuestada en general y el 76 % de los menores de 34 años prefieren que el concierto sea en la Plaza de la Revolución “José Martí”.
Al 78 % de los encuestados en general y al 84 % de los menores de 34 años les parece bien que compartan el escenario ese día artistas que viven en Cuba con otros del exilio.
El 63 % de los encuestados en general y el 75 % de los menores de 34 años están de acuerdo que el espectáculo sea “Por la Paz”.
