El verdadero rostro de las prisiones en Cuba

Curiosamente, en el mundo contemporáneo el individuo enviado a prisión, a saldar su deuda con la sociedad, supuestamente va a reeducarse. Pero las noticias dentro y fuera de Cuba demuestran que la cárcel es el sitio idóneo para profesionalizarse en la delincuencia.
En estos 6 años de cautiverio, he visto casi de todo. Y digo, casi de todo porque no puedo ser absoluto. El gobierno de La Habana dibuja los centros penitenciarios del país como escuelas. De no ser tan serio el tema daría risa hasta el cansancio. Es difícil que alguna prisión cubana no esté superpoblada. Desde donde escribimos pudiéramos decir que tres galeras son de 16,68 metros de largo y 4,94 metros de ancho, o sea menos de 83 metros cuadrados.
Allí conviven 66 reclusos, y en ocasiones más. Teniendo entonces que dormir algunos en el piso. Especialmente cuando llega algún traslado desde la prisión provincial. Realmente son 1,2676 metros cuadrados per cápita.
Existen otras 4 galeras, algo más pequeña donde el per cápita de espacio no es diferente durante todo el año. A ello debemos agregar que para las necesidades fisiológicas, de estas 66 personas solo existen 2 servicios de los llamados turcos, y para bañarse se dispone de un mínimo cuadradito, de 2×1metro acompañado de un perenne hedor a orina y heces fecales humanas.
Súmale a ello que los colchones tienen mucho tiempo de uso y algunos están confeccionados con sacos. A todo este rosario de calamidades se añade la pésima calidad de la alimentación, pues el plato fuerte en la mayoría de los días es pata y panza de res.
Es cierto que en los establecimientos penitenciarios de nuestro país los reclusos pueden matricular para recibir educación académica y aprender oficios, pero el fraude esta a la orden del día, al extremo que el recluso alumno conoce al maestro en el momento del examen final y aprueba en el mayor de los casos. Asombrosamente conquista el noveno grado, sin conocer los productos básicos.
Otro gran dilema lo encontramos en la asistencia médica, por sus insuficiencias y faltas de medicamentos, llegando a provocar en ocasiones la autoagresión de los convictos.
Algo muy delicado es la drogadicción de los presos con medicamentos indicados por los especialistas de siquiatría. Y no faltan quienes consumen bebidas alcohólicas. Como entran al penal es una verdadera incógnita.
Otro dato interesante es el relacionado con el homosexualismo y la reincidencia en prisión, esta última alcanza un elevado nivel. Resulta muy triste ver a los jóvenes de la nación, atrapado en este oscuro mundo, verdadero sepulcro de hombres libres.
Lo más terrible de las prisiones cubanas en las cuales determinados números de reclusos son golpeados por los militares que nos cuidan, por cometer indisciplinas. Así el hombre va acumulando odio y rencor, pues como dice una máxima, violencia engendra violencia.
Muchas cárceles en Cuba son famosas por el alto grado de violencia que generan. Puedo asegurarles que en el reclusorios de Bayamo, durante el periodo en que permanecí allí, desde el 3 de octubre del 2005 al 28 de noviembre del 2007, era rara, la semana en que no fuera golpeado un preso por los militares en grupos.
De esto dan fe varias cartas mías, donde denuncie al mundo a las víctimas y sus victimarios, dirección particular y fecha de ocurrencia. Entregadas a través de mi hija al doctor Rafael Pino Bécquer, vice fiscal general de la República de Cuba.
Cada una de ellas acumuló más de 15 casos. A los penales de Bayamo, también les acompañan prisiones famosas por las golpizas como son Agüica, en Colon, Matanzas, Kilo 8 en Camagüey, Kilo 5 en Pinar del Río, Combinado del Este en Ciudad de La Habana, Boniato en Santiago de Cuba, de las que acumulamos testimonios en este lamentable indicador.
Seria especial para cualquier país que sus prisiones se conviertan en escuelas. Hasta hora en nuestro país no pasa de ser un sueño extravagante y ridículo. (Fin)

Mis preguntas a quien sepa son : Dicen que Cuba tiene 11 millones de habitantes, todos en la isla o contando los 3 millones en el exilio?
Si hay 500 carceles en Cuba como lei en un blog, y todas estan abarrotadas, cuanta gente queda “libre” en las calles?
Si hay 300 presos politicos , entre los de conciencia, disidentes y peligrosidad, y todas las carceles estan llenas , quiere decir que hay tantos criminales, rateros, en las calles? Como es esto posible con tanto policia, CDR, seguridad del estado, inteligencia y contrainteligencia? Acaso la revolucion no ha logrado con todos estos sistemas de seguridad controlar al pueblo?
La prision mas grande del mundo es la que el gobierno de los Castros tiene sometido al pueblo de Cuba ….

Tengo una mezcla de sentimientos al leerles.
Porun lado una inmensa satisfacción y alegría por constatar
como se pueden evadir las rejas de una carcel con la
palabra escrita, como son tan valientes y decididos para
hacerse oir desde alli, no desmayar, no cesar de denunciar
de contar los atropellos y las barbaridades a las cuales son
sometidos, solo por disentir, por tener opiniones propias, por
no estar de acuerdo con un sistema que ya está mas que
demostrado fracasó en el mundo y Cuba no es la excepcion.
Por otro lado me embargan sentimientos como la ira y la indignación
al leer sobre las condiciones carcelarias que padecen.
Dios, eso es inhumano, contrario a todos los principios de la dignidad
humana, de los derechos humanos.
Ni los presos comunes y muchísimo menos los presos de conciencia,
(que de paso no deberían existir, porque no es delito tener conciencia y libre
pensamiento, solo las tiranías penalizan por ésto) deben ser sometidos a este
tipo de tratos vejatorios. No se reeduca
a un preso común en semejantes condiciones, eso solo aumenta su nivel de
violencia y de resentimiento.
Ustedes están alli, presos injustamente, soportando todo ese peso por la libertad
de Cuba…..los que estamos afuera nos sentimos impotentes, queriendo tener el
poder para liberarlos y acabar de una vez por todas con tantas injusticias y falta
de libertades…..solo nos queda denunciar, multiplicar estas informaciones, enviar
correos a medios de comunicación, acompañarlos desde nuestros pensamientos y
corazón y decirles que no son olvidados…que están presentes, en acciones concretas
por sus causas, en nuestras oraciones y en nuestras ideas de libertad.
Reciban ambos, y todos lo presos de conciencia de Cuba un abrazo desde
Venezuela, donde vivo y donde estamos resistiendo para no caer completamente
en las fauces del comunismo, la tiranía, el totalitarismo.

Conoci de la existencia de las crueles prisiones de la Isla desde hace ya varias decadas. Desgraciadamente tuve familiares muy allegados que la sufrienron en carne propia. Yo siendo muy jovencita visite muchas de ellas, en Manacas, Ariza, estas dos en Las Villas, Combinado del Este, en La Habana, Prision Provincial de Pinar del Rio, Taco-Taco, Sandino. Supe de todos los desmanes de que fueron objetos mi padre y mi hermano mas pequeño. Con este ultimo se ensañaron hasta la saciedad. Nunca he podido olvidarlo. Si con mis familiares se ensañaron, con la familia tampoco los del regimen no se quedan atras. Recuerdo muchas de las visitas tan esperadas a lo largo de 6 meses para cuando llegada la ansiada hora un despota esbirro dijera que la visita habia sido suspendida. Otras veces nos informaban que habian sido trasladados sin previo aviso y todo los alimentos que conseguiamos con tanto trabajo ellos no lo recibirian hasta pasados 6 meses mas. Cuantas anecdotas terribles pudiera contarles, pero un dia sera.
Otro tonto más, pero este peor que Van Van porque de verdad que tiene nombre de tonto. ¿Tú crees que todos somos tan permeables como ustedes fanáticos del ismo? Personas como tú nos dan esperanza de que pronto todo acabará. Un abrazo. Cuídate no te vaya a atropellar un carrito de helados mijo.

Gracias por este testimonio , es triste verte tan jóven entre rejas por la crueldad de esa dicatura que no quiere que los ciudadanos vivan en libertad, que tengan los derechos de cualquier ciudadano del mundo, tu voz es necesaria para que cuentes la verdad de las cárceles, el horror que tienen que vivir los presos. Habia oido acerca de los horrores de las carceles en Cuba, tanto para los presos comunes como los de conciendia, pero un “diario” de los sucesos es un motivo mas para que el pueblo de Cuba despierte y piense que nunca mas debe ocurrir esto.
La venganza seria lo primero que se le ocurriria a los mas, pero es mejor pensar que todos estos/y estas que contribuyen con este regimen sean juzgados, primero por los tribunales de los propios cubanos que han sufrido este horror y despues por “El justo juez, que es Dios nuestro senor”, la justicia de estos dos no se les escapara.

Yo he estado en las prisiones de Camaguey, Kilo 7, 8, 9 y no como reo, los maltratos, la violencia , las malas condiciones de vida, mala alimentación, etc, etc, son increíbles y sin embargo critican la base de Guantánamo son unos cínicos y descarados. Fuerza
Buenas a todos los presos politicos en Cuba:
Estar preso en Cuba debe ser terrible y aun peor los que mandan para Mazorra porque dicen que estan “locos”. De todas maneras estos presos encuentran una via para estar en contacto con el mundo exterior y eso es una idea brillante, tan brillantes como es no rendirse.
Los presos que no tienen razones politicas pero que estan presos porque son tambien victimas del regimen, pueden ayudar y en cierta manera proteger a estos con sentencias de 20, 25 y hasta 30 anos. A cada oficial represivo se le puede detectar y mandar su nombre afuera a los que luchan en las calles del pais para que ellos lo envien internacionalmente a cada destino que se ocupara de el en el momento preciso.
Pidamos a Dios que acompane a estos jovenes quienes con un valor increible desafian todas las medidas que toman para tenerlos controlados tanto en la carcel como en las ciudades y campos de Cuba. Dios nos acompana y nos protege. Uds se merecen la libertad junto con los que estan ahi por cuestiones no-politicas, porque sufren el regimen de igual forma.
